Harvard Business School Wall of Recognition installation is complete

“Our obligations to our country never cease but with our lives.” — John Adams, Harvard University A.B. 1755, A.M. 1758

The Wall of Recognition For Service to Country was installed at Harvard Business School last week, just in time for Veteran’s Day. It depicts the Buckminster Fuller’s Dymaxion map produced in 1954. This map presents the Earth’s continents as nearly contiguous, united land masses in one ocean. The sculpture recognizes the global nature of the Harvard Business School community and its members who have served their country worldwide. The wall was designed by Brie Mendozza, Heeyoung Lee, and Gary Hilderbrand from Reed Hilderbrand, fabricated by Coldspring and installed by Cambridge Landscaping and United Stone.
