Ambika completed her Master’s of Landscape Architecture at the University of Toronto in 2020, where she spent several years working with Fadi Masoud at the Center for Landscape Research studying coastal adaptation strategies and climate change models. She earned a World Landscape Architecture Award and Heather M. Reisman Gold Medal for her thesis, “On Thin Ice,” which proposes a reinvention of nautical systems in the Bering Strait. Her research explores the role of big infrastructure and logistical landscapes in efforts towards climate resiliency, having featured work in Athens, Melbourne Design Week (‘Climate Imaginaries’), and LA+ Journal. At RH, Ambika is currently a designer for private residential projects in Texas.
