Karli Scott

Associate

Karli loves learning about places through the practice of landscape architecture. Inspired at a young age by her grandmother’s avid gardening, Karli developed an interest in horticulture and practiced plant propagation as a hobby. She thrived in mathematics courses in school and took weekend workshops in botanical drawing, glass lampworking, and woodworking at the Brookfield Craft Center. It was there that she was introduced to landscape architecture, through magazines gifted to her by a landscape architect. With the realization that the discipline could combine her different interests, she earned her BSLA from Cornell University, followed by an MLA II from the University of Pennsylvania. Karli joined Reed Hilderbrand in 2022, bringing design experience in both public and residential projects in varying scales, with a particular focus on planting design, from Artemis Landscape Architects, WATG, OJB, and, most recently, Ten Eyck Landscape Architects in Austin. She now contributes to institutional projects throughout New England and residential projects in Texas. Outside of work, Karli loves to read, garden, and explore the parks of Boston.
