Sofia Armanet

Senior Associate

Sofia’s practice gravitates around landscape’s ability to give people a better quality of life. Born and raised in Santiago, Chile, she wished city residents had more access to nearby green space. After graduating from the Universidad Católica de Chile with a degree in architecture, Sofia transitioned to landscape architecture to increase the public impact of her work. During the past eight years, she has been leading Paisaje Urbano (PAUR), one of the few landscape architecture firms in Santiago, where she has been focusing on the design and construction of public landscapes. Sofia contributed to designs for The Clark Art Insitute, Seaport District, and various residential gardens at Reed Hilderbrand from 2012-2013 and returned in 2022 as a member of Volpe Redevelopment team. She loves music, tennis, and exploring the Boston area’s historic parks and green spaces.
