Reed Hilderbrand is One of Eight Finalists for Detroit West Riverfront Competition
Reed Hilderbrand has been selected as one of eight firms under consideration to compete in the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy’s West Riverfront Park Design Competition. The competition will reimagine the 22-acre site, which is envisioned to be a regional destination that emphasizes recreational use and social interaction.
Principals Chris Moyles and Eric Kramer will lead a multidisciplinary team, including Edwin Chan of EC3, recipient of a 2017 Progressive Architecture Award for True North Detroit, Priya Sircar of Lord Cultural Resources, and Bry Sarté of Sherwood Design Engineers.
Presentations are open to the public and will take place at the Wayne County Community College District – Downtown Campus in Detroit, on August 8th and 9th. They will run from 9 AM – 4:15 PM.
