American Museum of Natural History Gilder Center with Studio Gang
The American Museum of Natural History (AMNH) in New York City has announced the addition of Reed Hilderbrand to a design team for their new center for scientific research and education. The team is led by MacArthur Fellow Jeanne Gang and includes acclaimed exhibition designers Ralph Applebaum Associates. Originally announced in December 2014, the Richard Gilder Center for Science, Education, and Innovation, located on Columbus Avenue, will include approximately 218,000 square feet of existing and new space. The Gilder Center will open to the public 2019-2020.
